At Mujaz, we value your privacy and provide you with full control over your personal data. In accordance with Google Play policies and GDPR regulations, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated information.
How to Request Deletion
- Email us: Send a formal request to support@mujaz.app.
- Subject Line: Use "Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email]".
- Verification: You must send this email from the address associated with your Mujaz account to verify ownership.
- Processing Time: Our team will verify and process your request within 48 hours. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email.
What Data is Deleted?
- Profile Information: Your email address, name, and account credentials.
- User Preferences: Any saved news categories or app settings.
- Bookmarked Content: All articles or summaries you have saved to your "Favorites."
- Interaction History: Any logs of your activity within the app associated with your ID.
Data Retention Policy
- Permanent Deletion: Upon processing your request, all data mentioned above is scrubbed from our active databases and cannot be recovered.
- Exceptions: We do not retain any personal data after account deletion. However, anonymized, non-identifiable technical logs (such as crash reports via Firebase) may be kept for a maximum of 30 days to improve app stability, after which they are automatically purged.
- Legal Obligations: We do not currently collect data that requires longer retention for legal or financial purposes.
